Property Zoom

This property sets or returns the current zoom level of the preview window.

Syntax:

Zoom [ = vZoom As Long ] As Long

In addtion to positive values indicating a zoom factor, the vZoom parameter can contain the following values:

Constant          Value    Description
  • prZMDefault -1 Initial default
  • prZMPageWidth -2 Zoom to page width
  • prZMWholePage -3 Zoom to full page
  • prZMTwoPages -4 Zoom to double page
    Remarks:

    This property determines the zoom level for the the preview window.

    Normally the value of the property is used when the preview window is created and if the window is Modal then the application cannot change the zoom level nor read the property. However, if Modal = False then the property can be read or changed as required.

    The zoom level of the preview window can be changed by the user while it is displayed, using the zoom buttons if displayed.

    The value of Zoom at the start of PrintPreview is prZMDefault

    Example:

    To set the zoom level at 200%:

    Preview.Zoom = 200
