Property TextRotation

Action:

This property sets or returns current angle in degrees of rotation for text.

Syntax:

TextRotation [ = lRotAngle As Long ] As Long

Remarks:

Subsequent text is displayed rotated to an angle of lRotAngle degrees.

The default value is 0 ( = Horizontal).

After adding the text CurrentY is updated as : Preview.CurrentY + preview.TextHeight ("displayed text).

Positive angles displays counter clockwise, negative the opposite direction.

Angles greater than 90 degrees and smaller than 270 degrees will have the start location as CurrentX (or as indicated in AddTextAt) but will be displayed in the left direction relative to Xpos. CurrentX will not be adjusted, but keeps it's original value.

Preview.AddText = "text line rotated to 45 degrees"

to display the text upside down :

Preview.TextRotation = 180
Preview.AddText = "text line is up side down and there for rotated to 180 degrees"
