LeadingType [ = LeadingType As eLeadingType]
LeadingType Type of leading to be usedThe LeadingType parameter can contain the following values:
Constant Value Description
prLTPercent 1 LeadingVal is percentage
prLTAbsolute 2 LeadingVal is absolute
prLTIncrement 3 LeadingVal is incrementalRemarks:
The leading (in twips) is added to the value of CurrentY and is updated by AddTextAt.
Percentage leading means that each line can be spaced with help of the specified percentage of the FontSize and is set by LeadingVal. Note that, with AddTextAt, which adds Graphic text elements, the whole string is in the same font specification, including size. The space between lines is normally about 30-40 % of the FontSize.
Absolute leading means that lines start at the specified distance (in twips) vertically, regardless of the FontSize of the text, thus CurrentY will increase with the value of LeadingVal.
Incremental leading means that the specified distance is added between the lines. Zero increment means that lines are spaced according to the FontSize of the text, thus CurrentY will be the result of FontSize + standard Leading + LeadingVal (in twips).
Note that the default value of Autostep for AddTextAt is prASLine which updates CurrentY according to the current LeadingVal.
To set two lines, separated by a half line space:
Preview.LeadingType = prLTPercent
