Method GetStyle

Action:

This method returns the definition of a style.

Syntax:

GetStyle (strStyleName As String) As String

Parameter           Description                          
  • strStyleName Name assigned to style or predefined
    Remarks:

    The string returned by this method is a definition of the parameters making up a style.
    The style name me be a predefined StyleName, or an assigned StyleName.

    The items of the returned string is as follows :

    Name of style		Leading          LineColor
    FontName         	LeadingVal
    FontSize          	TextRotation
    FontBold              	FillStyle
    FontUnderline          	FillColor
    FontItalic              PageSize
    ForeColor           	LineWidth
    BackColor          	LineType
    FontStrikeThru         	LineColor
    Example:

    The following:

    strNames = Preview.GetStyle ("Normal")

    returns the strName:

    Style: Normal; Font: Times New Roman; Size: 10,0; Bold: False; Underline: False; Italic: False; Fore: 0; Back: 16777215; Strikethru: False; Leading: Increment; Val: 0,0; Rotation: 0,0; FillStyle: 0; FillColor: 0; PageSize: 9; LineWidth: 20; LineType: 0; Line Color: 0

    and

    Preview.ModifyStyle "Normal", "FontName", "arial"
    Preview.ModifyStyle "Normal", "FontSize", 12
    Preview.ModifyStyle "Normal", "FontBold", True
    Preview.ModifyStyle "Normal", "FontUnderline", True
    Preview.ModifyStyle "Normal", "FontItalic", True
    Preview.ModifyStyle "Normal", "ForeColor", vbRed
    Preview.ModifyStyle "Normal", "BackColor", vbBlue
