Method FormDisplay

Action:

This method displays a Visual basic form which has been read into an XML-document.

Syntax:

FormDisplay(docXML As DOMDocument, colParam As Collection, vXstart As Variant, vYstart As Variant)
Parameter    Description                        
  • docXML Form definition
  • colParam Collection of parameters
  • vXstart x coordinate of form origin
  • vYstart y coordinate of form origin
    Remarks:

    This method displays a Visual basic form which has been read into an XMLdocument by ReadForm.

    The collection of parameters is used to display text in TextBox controls. As the form is displayed, the name of a textbox control is looked up in colParam and the corresponding string value drawn inside the textbox.

    Example:

    To display a form:

    vXML = Preview.ReadForm "C:\Form2.frm"
    colParam = New Collection
    colParam.Add "John Smith", "NameBox"
    Preview.FormDisplay vXML, colparam, "1.0 in", "1.0 in"
