Property DrawWidth


This Propery sets or returns the line width used to display lines in graphics.


DrawWidth [ = vWidth As Variant] As Long

Parameter --- Description

  • vWidth --- Width of lines in twips or a string value which will be converted to twips.


    vWidth can be an integer value or a string like "1.5 cm", "1 Millimeter" ....

    The width of subsequent lines is set to DrawWidth. When DrawWidth is not set the default value is 20 twips.

    The method which use this property takes into account the resolution of each output device, using the Windows property TwipsPerPixelX as provided by each device driver.


    To set the width of lines to 1 point (= 20 twips):

    Preview.DrawWidth = 20


    Preview.DrawWidth = "1 pt"
