Method DrawCircle

Action:

This method adds a circle element to the current frame.

Syntax:

DrawCircle (vXpos As Variant, vYpos As Variant, vRad As Variant) As String

Parameter Description
  • vXpos Horizontal position of center point
  • vYpos Vertical position of center point
  • vRad Horizontal radius of circle
    Remarks:

This method draws a circle element in the current frame. When the circle is drawn, the values of the current style are used to determine linewidth, color and fill

The vXpos, vYpos and vRad parameters may either be numbers, which are taken to be values in twips, or a string. If a parameter is specified as a string then it is converted to twips using the C_Twips function.

After the completion of the method the values of CurrentX and CurrentY are set to the center of the circle.

    Example:

    To draw a circle:

    Preview.DrawCircle "2.0 in", "3.0 in", "2 cm", "3 cm"
